Bullshit

I was by the pool talking to some guy. The rest of the group was swimming and having a good time. I was about to jump in, so I invited him to join us. He refused and told me that when he was a kid he saw a guy drowning in the sea. He tried to save him but he couldn't, so now he is afraid of swimming anywhere... It was a very dramatic history.
I think it was bullshit...
